6 Players to Miss Real Madrid-Arsenal Match

At least six players will be missing in action when Real Madrid take on Arsenal in UEFA Champions League (UCL) action tonight, Tuesday 8 April.

The reigning UCL champions will face the Gunners in the first leg of the quarter-finals at the Emirates Stadium in London, England. However, they will be without several of their key players.

According to reports, defenders Dani Carvajal, Ferland Mendy and Eder Militao, midfielders Aurelien Tchouameni and Dani Ceballos, and goalkeeper Andriy Lunin will be missing in action for Los Blancos.

Notably, Tchouameni will be absent from the bout due to his suspension following a yellow card during a recent UCL match against Manchester City.

Regarding the rest, Mendy, Ceballos and Lunin are sidelined with injuries, while there are fears that Carvajal and Militao – although they have made progress in recovering from their recent injuries – may not be match-ready yet.

On a positive note, the trio of Kylian Mbappe, Antonio Rudiger and Vinicius Junior will take part in the match after narrowly escaping a ban from UEFA because of their inappropriate post-match celebrations following last month’s UCL encounter with Atletico Madrid.
